ACBDD Covid-19 Operations

The Ashland County Board of Developmental Disabilities is committed to providing ongoing services during this time of uncertainty. Our building is open. In an effort to protect those we serve, as well as our staff, visitors are limited and required to wear a mask. Please contact 419-289-0470 to arrange your visit and for full details.

Service & Support Administration

  • The SSA department remains operational and is working remotely at this time.
  • SSAs and support staff remain available by phone and email.
  • SSA's will be making contact as needed to organize phone, conference or video calls in order to coordinate services.
  • Please contact your SSA if you need assistance.

Dale-Roy School

  • Dale-Roy School is offering options for in-person education, distance learning, and a blended option if needed for the 2020-21 school year
  • Please see the Dale-Roy School Restart plans for full details regarding options and guidelines for the 2020-21 school year.
  • Breakfast and lunch deliveries will continue through August. Families who have not signed up for meal delivery may request meals by contacting the school (419-289-0470)

Early Intervention

  • Early Intervention home visits are suspended until further notice. Service providers will continue to have regular contact with families. Families are encouraged to participate in alternate meeting formats-phone or videoconference.
  • Early Intervention providers will continue to partner with Help Me Grow Service Coordinators to schedule evaluations and required IFSP meetings via phone/video conference.

MUI Department

  • The MUI Unit remains operational and is continuing to investigates and/or tracks all major unusual incidents involving Ashland County residents with developmental disabilities. Operations are being fulfilled remotely at this time.
  • If you become aware of an unanticipated hospitalization or death related to COVID-19, please report it to our MUI Unit, so we can track the number of cases involving people with disabilities who we support. We are here to help Families and Providers during the Pandemic COVID-19 epidemic. We understand the important role family and the Community Providers play in the health and safety of individuals with disabilities.
